With 5 state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, Merino offers a wide range of laminates and surfacing solutions featuring over 10, 000 SKUs in multiple designs, finishes, and sizes. Our all-new Low-Pressure Laminates (LPL) facility with latest German technology has further bolstered our manufacturing capability.

Taking ahead our expertise and experience, in 2005, under the Brand name VEGIT we stepped into the potato flakes and seeds business within the food and agro-industry. We take pride in offering high-quality potato flakes that serve as versatile ingredients for our Institutional and HORECA (Hotel, Restaurant & Caterer) customers in both Domestic and International markets. Our commitment to excellence extends to our potato seed production, where we grow potato seeds in a state-of-the-art Tissue Culture Laboratory approved by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT). These seeds are further nurtured using the Aeroponic technique, enabling us to offer a wide range of potato seed varieties for contract farming.

About Vegit

Merino Group is one of the largest providers of potato storage and processing facilities in the Indian market today. The group started its cold storage facility in 1968 and since then has expanded into contract farming, biotechnology, and food processing. In pursuit of excellence, the group set up state-of-the-art tissue culture labs and greenhouses in Bhimtal, Uttarakhand and Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. A fully automated and cutting-edge potato-processing plant was set up in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh. This plant operates with remarkable efficiency and requires minimal supervision.

This strategic expansion has enabled the group to have control over the entire potato value chain. A notable success story is the launch of Vegit Aloo Mash, which has positioned Vegit as a leading supplier of potato flakes in both domestic and international markets.
