Working Towards Waste Recycle
- Ash produced by boilers and incinerators is converted into bricks and tiles, which are then utilized for making pavements within our premises.
- Solid waste from potato peels and unused potatoes, is converted into compost.
- Organic waste is transformed into nutrient-rich manure through bio-conversion processes.
- Decomposed slurry obtained from the bio-gas plants serves as a valuable fertilizer.

Optimizing Air Quality

- Wet scrubbers installed in our manufacturing plants at Hapur, Rohad and Dahej help to contain the air pollutants.
- Electrostatic precipitators and bag filters are installed in manufacturing units to control emissions.
- Chillers in the production units operate on the latest technology and are relatively more environmentally friendly than conventional cooling systems.
Rain-Water Harvesting
We practice 5R Approach to reduce our water consumption
- Reduce – 2 Adiabatic Cooling Towers installed that saves more than 73,000 KL of water annually.
- Recycle & Reuse – Recycling over 72,000 KL of water annually for reuse.
- Replenish & Restore – Effectively restores nearly 5,53,815 KL of water in a year while aiming at zero discharge .
